BOK CENTER NOMINATED FOR ARNEA OF THE YEAR BY POLLSTAR FOR THE 9TH TIME IN BUILDING HISTORY

November 19, 2021 – Oklahoma’s marquee concert arena continues to generate national industry recognition as BOK Center has been nominated for Arena of the Year by Pollstar Magazine for the 9th time in building history.BOK Center joins a distinguished group of nominees for Arena of the Year including Dickies Arena (Fort Worth, TX), Bridgestone Arena (Nashville, TN), The Forum (Inglewood, CA), Madison Square Garden (New York, NY) and Crypto.com Arena (Los Angeles, CA). This award recognizes the arena that showcased superior talent booking, effective promotion, quality production values and staff, an exemplary experience for fans and artists, and consistent box office success over the last decade.“We are honored to be recognized as one of the best venues in the world by our industry peers along with other iconic venues,” said BOK Center Interim general manager Evan Falat. “After the last year and a half, it’s been great to see how resilient our industry is as events have come roaring back. Each year the publication hosts the Concert Industry Awards. The 2022 Pollstar Award nominees were selected by a panel of more than 2,500 agents, managers, promoters, venue operators and professionals who work in the live entertainment industry. With the largest, most diverse nomination committee in the history of the awards, Pollstar announced several changes to the program recently, both in terms of award categories and in the methodology calculating winners. These changes are geared to increase relevancy, recognize the evolution of the industry, and acknowledge the standard bearers from the preceding touring year. The 33rd Annual Pollstar Awards ceremony will take place on February 8, 2022 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
